The challenge
A website for holiday rentals in Santorini competes with hundreds of properties on Booking and Airbnb. For someone to book direct, they need to see clearly how many guests each property sleeps, what amenities it has and what it looks like inside, and to find an easy way to ask about dates.
A small business with two properties also needs to explain its area. Vourvoulos is not Oia or Fira, and the visitor wants to understand why they should stay there. A blog with guides to the island and the area helps both the visitor and Google.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor Pro, in English with a Greek version and hreflang. The homepage presents the two suites in cards with guests, bedrooms, sofa beds and bathrooms, and each one has its own page: Junior Suite and Cave House.
We added About Us, Experience Santorini and Gallery pages. The blog started with articles such as a simple guide to Santorini, one about the Cave House as a place for families and groups, and one on why to stay in Vourvoulos. This way the site answers the searches travellers make before they choose an area.
Contact happens with no middleman: tap-to-call phone, a WhatsApp button, a separate email for each property and a Google map on the Contact page. The "Contact us" button stays in the header on every page.
