The challenge
A website for padel courts has to take bookings first of all. Players want to see available times and book a court without calling, often late at night for the next day. At the same time, a padel club also lives on lessons, kids' groups and birthday parties, which speak to parents and beginners and need a different presentation.
Cross Padel also has a 300 m² open-air space with a cafe-bar, ping pong, mini basketball and roundnet, which is rented out for corporate events and private parties. Many expats live and play padel in Athens' northern suburbs, so the site had to speak Greek, English and French.
What we built
We built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro. The Reservation button sits in the menu on every page and leads to the booking system at booking.crosspadel.gr, where players register and book a court. The homepage presents the Mondo courts, coaching, the venue, player reviews, opening hours, address with map, email and phone.
We split the content into About us, Head Coach, Venue, Events and Contact pages. The venue page shows the three courts, the changing rooms, the parking and the activities off court. The Events page presents corporate events, parties, soirées and group activities, with exclusive use of the club, catering and a "Request a quote" button.
The three languages were set up with Polylang and Connect Polylang for Elementor, with their own URLs and hreflang. We added the Readabler accessibility tool for larger text and contrast, a cookie banner and links to Facebook and Instagram.
