The challenge
A website for a robotics centre is aimed at parents, not children. Parents want to understand what their child will gain, whether the lessons suit their age and how they can try it before committing to a whole year.
Robotics and STEAM lessons are fairly new to many families, so the site has to explain them simply. At the same time, the centre wanted to collect interest for seasonal activities, such as the summer camp, and reach out to kindergartens and primary schools for partnerships.
What we built
We built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro and structured it around two forms. The first, at the top, is the summer camp registration and asks for the parent's full name, phone, email, and the child's name and age. The second, further down, offers a free trial lesson, so parents can get to know the centre at no cost.
Between the forms, the homepage explains in plain words what robotics develops, such as logical thinking, problem solving and self-confidence, and how learning through play helps a child try things, make mistakes and learn from them. Then come the three services: educational robotics, physics and chemistry experiments, and outside partnerships with kindergartens and primary schools.
The menu has About us, Services and Contact pages, and each service has its own page. The footer holds the address in Chanioporta, the email, a click-to-call phone number and links to Instagram and Facebook.
