The challenge
A dietitian website with an e-shop has to do several jobs without confusing anyone. One visitor is looking for a weight-loss programme or a diet for PCOS, another wants a recipe for a light dessert, and a third comes back to reorder the supplement the dietitian recommended. They all need to find their way from the homepage.
The centre offers many services: nutrition for metabolic and autoimmune conditions, pregnancy, nutrigenetics, coaching, beauty services and seminars. It needed a structure that fits them all, a booking system and a store with secure card payments.
What we built
We built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro and WooCommerce. The Services menu is split into Nutrition (weight loss, metabolic conditions, autoimmune conditions, infertility and PCOS, pregnancy and breastfeeding, life stages, nutrition education), Coaching, Wellness, Seminars and Nutrigenetics. On the homepage each service has its own card, and a large button leads to booking through Doctoranytime (a Greek doctor booking platform).
The store includes supplements, food, cosmetics, health tests, beauty services and webinars. Card payments go through Cardlink (a Greek card payment provider), there is a customer account and a returns policy page, and a banner at the top tells customers about holidays and order delays.
For content we set up a blog in two sections, Ef zin for health and wellness and Ef diatrofin for recipes, using WP Recipe Maker so the recipes have the right format for Google. We added a calorie counter, a gallery, a newsletter, a contact form with reCAPTCHA, opening hours per day and the centre's address.
