The challenge
A psychologist website is often read by parents at a difficult moment. They search for "child psychologist" and their area, and want to understand quickly whether the professional deals with what their child is going through, how the process starts and whether sessions are confidential. Tone matters as much as information: a cold or vague site does not persuade anyone to pick up the phone.
The practice in Skala Oropou covers many different needs: psychological support for children, parent counselling, trauma work, assessment of children and teenagers, and services for adults, in person and online. Each one had to be findable on Google for its own search, and the site had to show the address clearly for people looking for someone nearby.
What we built
We built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro and Essential Addons. The homepage opens with "Psychologist in Skala Oropou", the three key points (specialising in children and teenagers, family support, in-person and online sessions) and two buttons: "Book an Appointment" and "See Services". Then come the trust signals, the services, a short CV and the three steps to get started.
The services have five separate pages, from psychological support for children to services for adults, each written for its own search. The FAQ page answers what parents ask, such as from what age a child can start and how long a session lasts, and there is an Articles/News section for writing.
The Contact & Appointments page has a form with full name, phone, email and message, a Google map with the office in Nea Palatia, and directions. The phone number stays in the header of every page. We connected Site Kit by Google for analytics and added a cookie banner and a privacy policy.
