The challenge
An event organiser website speaks to very different people. A deputy mayor for culture wants to see what has already been done in other municipalities, a parents' association is looking for an activity for children, a private client wants a party. They all need to understand quickly what can be staged, where it has been done and how to ask for a quote.
Fireflies Fest has many different "products": the Festival of Colours, the Bee Festival, Halloween, Christmas, environmental parks, concerts and shows, as well as kiosk or band rental. Each had to be presented separately, without losing the picture of one team that handles the whole organisation.
What we built
We built the site in WordPress with Elementor Pro, in Greek and English through WPML. The Services menu opens onto one page for each themed festival and three do-it-yourself services: your own event, your own party, rental of a hut or kiosk for markets and fairs, and band rental.
The Events page works as the year's calendar, with date and place for each event, for example the Festival of Colours in Rafina, Thebes or Patmos, and mentions the partnerships with municipalities, trade associations and the Region of Attica. This gives a municipal official the proof they need to go ahead.
Every service page ends with an "Express interest" button, and the homepage has a gallery from the events, a partners section and an enquiry form. The phone number is visible on every page with a call button.
