The challenge
A lawyer's website has to answer one simple question from the visitor: "does she handle my case?". Someone buying property looks for title checks and the Land Registry, a foreign national looks for help with a residence permit, a family looks for acceptance of an inheritance. If all of this is a list on one page, the visitor is not convinced and Google does not know which search to show the site for.
The firm also serves clients from abroad, working remotely, and the lawyer speaks English and German. To build trust before the first meeting, the site also needed a way to show knowledge of the field, not just a list of services, and to state clearly that meetings are by appointment.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor Pro and Premium Addons. The homepage presents the lawyer, her membership of the Athens Bar Association, the office in Aigaleo and the languages she works in, then moves on to the practice areas, the reasons to choose her and five FAQs, such as whether she takes on real estate cases or serves clients from abroad.
The services were split into seven pages: Real Estate Transactions, Immigration & Foreign Nationals Law, Inheritance Law, Land Registry, Family Law, Criminal Law and Non-Contentious Proceedings. Each one is written for its own search and appears in the menu dropdown.
The News section publishes commentary on court rulings, which shows engagement with the field and brings visits from search. The Contact page has a form with first name, last name, email, phone and message, and the footer shows phone, email and the note "by appointment", along with terms of use and a cookie banner.
