The challenge
With car accessories, the biggest problem for an e-shop is compatibility. A fascia for a 2005 Seat Leon won't fit a 2015 Leon, and a steering wheel adapter for an Audi won't work in a Honda. If customers can't quickly find what fits their own car, they either call or leave. And if they buy the wrong item, a return follows.
A business that also sells to installers needs to provide fitting instructions and technical documents, and to show where its partners are. A car accessories e-shop has to serve both the private buyer looking for a speaker and the installer looking for an interface.
What we built
We built the e-shop in WordPress with WooCommerce and Elementor Pro. The homepage opens with a car make selector and the menu offers two paths: products by make, from Alfa Romeo to Volvo plus Scania and Iveco trucks, and products by category. Ajax search finds products as you type.
We added pages for installation guides and technical documents, which open as PDFs inside the site, a dealer network page and a contact form. Customers create an account, keep a wishlist and load more products without changing page.
The site also runs our own AI chatbot, the "PRO-TECH Assistant", which answers the question "what fits my car" and guides the customer to the right product. SEO is handled with Rank Math and schema.org structured data, and the footer holds the returns policy, privacy policy and terms of sale.
