The challenge
An accounting firm's website usually doesn't answer the first question a business owner has: how much will this cost me. The owner of a small private company (IKE) or a restaurant wants a rough idea before calling, otherwise they often don't call at all. And once they become a client, they want to see their pending items and obligations without sending an email every time.
Upgrade Solutions offers quite a few different services, from bookkeeping and payroll to registered business address rental, a virtual office and advice on ESPA (EU-funded Greek business grants) and DYPA (Greece's public employment service) programs. It needed a site that presents each one separately, brings in Google traffic on current topics and gives clients their own login.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor Pro, in Greek and English with WPML. Each service has its own page under the "Our Services" menu, so "payroll management" or "virtual office" can show up separately in search. The homepage presents the founders' values and story and closes with the firm's strengths.
On the "Service Costs" page we built a three-step calculator. The visitor picks their sector, their legal form, from sole proprietorship to SA (AE), and the number of employees, and sees an estimated monthly cost. They can send the quote to their email, so the firm gets a contact with all the key details.
For existing clients there is a private Client Area, built as a custom plugin for the firm. The firm creates the accounts, and each client logs in over an encrypted connection to see their financial data, tax obligations and pending items. The "News" section publishes articles on current topics, such as unemployment benefit or holiday pay.
