A patient looking for a doctor usually has a problem and little patience. They open two or three sites on their phone and call whoever convinced them fastest. A medical practice website doesn't need flashy effects. It needs trust and ease of use.
The 8 things it must have
1. Phone and booking in one tap
A call button that is always visible on mobile and, if possible, online booking with availability that stays up to date.
2. Specialty and area in the first line
"Dentist in Marousi, implants and orthodontics" says more than a generic slogan, and it helps Google and AI tools recommend you.
3. Biography and photo
Education, experience, membership of professional associations. A real photo of the doctor and the practice builds trust much faster than stock photos.
4. One page for each condition or treatment
People search for "lower back pain physiotherapy" or "teeth whitening price". One page per topic, in plain words, brings in the right patients.
5. Opening hours, address, map, parking
Practical information that is missing from many medical sites. Together with a link to your Google Business Profile.
6. Frequently asked questions
How long does a visit take, what should I bring, do you work with insurance funds? The answers reduce phone calls and help SEO.
7. Speed and security
Fast loading on mobile, SSL, and forms that don't ask for sensitive medical data without a reason.
8. Patient reviews
Google reviews count for a lot in local search. Ask for them, respectfully, after a good visit.
The limits of medical ethics
The Greek Code of Medical Ethics limits how doctors can promote themselves: factual information yes, exaggeration, promises of results and comparisons with colleagues no. A serious, informative site is also more effective. If in doubt, ask your local medical association.
Examples from our work
We have built websites for general and family medicine, a physiotherapy centre, a psychologist and a health centre with an e-shop. See all our healthcare projects.
A medical practice website starts from 250€ in 3 days. With online booking and an AI assistant that answers 24/7, patients get answers even when the practice is closed. See also our guide to a website for a psychologist.
